Percival Potts broke out onto the scene in October of 2002, bringing together members of the Bloomingotn music scene into a collaborative effort to play Original music and add to the element that makes Bloomington a mecca of live music. In May 2003 Kevin Boas joined the group, bringing in a heavy jazz background and very strong improvisational skills. Since then we've has been playing regionally and loving every minute of it.

Percival Potts brings out an original sound and a huge variety of styles to entertain, but everything can be rolled up into the category of Funk, Soul, and Rock-n-Roll. Our backgrounds consist of Jazz, Hard Rock, Jam Bands and Hip-Hop, and we bring out every element of that in our playing.
