Now we really didn’t know if we should laugh or be amused when a reporter asked us what we though about “free life insurance”. We say, if there’s no such thing as a free lunch, then there’s no such thing as free life insurance, either.

We know what caused all that hype about free life insurance and we tell you folks, there is no such thing as free life insurance, there is only premium financing, and it is the best thing that ever happened to elder people since the retirement home. Of course, we’re not saying only old people can get their premiums financed.

All we’re saying is that premium finance was first offered to golden aged people who had a lot of money to give, but were afraid the taxes might eat up a chunk of their heir’s inheritance. They were also offered to rich old people who did not want to sell their assets so they could pay the premiums of a large insurance policy.

Our experience in promoting insurance has proven to us that premium financing programs should also be offered to other high net worth individuals regardless if they’re young, middle aged or over-aged. Regardless of age, rich people, like any other person, can never get away from death and taxes or in the case of the United States, taxes at death. So they might as well lessen their tax payments at death through a life insurance policy.

You already know that a life insurance policy’s premiums are always lesser than the face amount, or the money paid upon the death of the insured person. But premiums can also be expensive with a huge face amount. This is where premium financing can come in. If you want to take out a large insurance policy, you can always have a premium financing company pay for the premiums first. Then you pay after the fact of payment.
